Starting to Be Mr. Nice Guy

Pictured: a philanthropist

Theory time. As those of you who follow my blog have probably noticed, I have been posting more. Not posting my thoughts, no, but links to poems. Now why do you suppose that is? Am I getting better? Maybe. But I think the answer is more material. Namely that we're entering into summer break for the nation's teachers, professors, and adjuncts. That means more people with more free time to respond to submissions and post what they accept. Anyway, that's my theory and here's a poem from Hidden Peaks called Starting to Be Mr. Nice Guy.

Famous Next Words?

Bard and Prose has published a poem of mine: Famous Next Words. I think my new attempt at a headshot/selfie came out well.

Do Something Poems from Do Nothing Kings

Roi Fainéant has published four poems of mine. They involve memory, the internet, cooking, and surveys. The title of one of them "Currying Forms," is based off the title of one of the first ever English cookbook. The name of the publication is a reference the final kings of the Merovingian Dynasty in France (the last one is pictured getting a tonsure after being deposed). They were perceived as being weak and ineffectual, so much so that even the Pope said it was fine to get rid of them.

From Philip Twite, I mean, Ben Nardolilli

From Philip Twite is the name of the poem. The name of the author is Ben Nardolilli. The name of the journal it is published in is the Pine Cone Review. Hence the picture above.

Fresh Words from a Fiery Scribe

A soul is for sale and a guilty party pleads in front of a judge in poems of mine published at Fresh Words. Meanwhile a man with a lease speaks over at the Fiery Scribe
