Two poems in the Studium (not Stadium) Review. Both about relationships, those things we've heard so much about.

Not to be Confused with Tardigrades
Thanks to Moss Piglet for publishing a poem of mine. It is called Attacking Plastics and it is in their most recent issue. I posted two pictures of it in case you all have trouble reading either one.

No, I Don't Have a Cat, Yes Read My Poem About One Anyway
Poetry Life and Times, an offshoot of ArtVilla published a poem of mine with a feline character. My original source of inspiration wasn't real life, so much as a picture of a couch in a book about interior design.
Oh no, my secret is out!

Come See and Hear Me Read! (And some other people...)
So I'll be reading at Unnameable Books this Thursday. The reading will be part of a series to promote the release of Christine Stoddard's book launch for Desert Fox by the Sea. It'll probably be poems, but who knows. Maybe I'll read a Death Compromise from work, and then expound on how a poem is like asbestos, but good. The best of asbestos? Other readers include Jeanne Joe Perrone and Lana C. Marilyn.

The Route of the Next Women's March on DC
Now I have no intention of mansplaining here, this is just an idea for the route of the next possible march to take. I think we should start at L'Enfant Plaza and from there head north. Just as a baby was born there once, so shall the next march be born there as well:
This will take the march through the Mall and next to all the important museums. Tourists won't be able to avoid us. After politicians, I think they're the next most important group to reach out to. Then at H Street we will branch off into two groups. Going any farther north will be trouble because there won't be enough space and amenities to support the protest:
One group will head east and curl around Union Station and end near the Capitol grounds to make our case heard to the legislative and judicial branches:
However, that will still leave the executive branch to reach out to, and reach out we will! How? By walking over to 17th Street, then going down past the White House to occupy the space between it and the Washington Monument:
So the next Women's March on DC will look something like this:

Gawker's Best Article
I know Gawker filing for bankruptcy has brought out a good deal of Schadenfreude among the commentariat, however I think it's important to remember that Gawker has occasionally run a good article or two.

Live from New York, It's Ben Nardolilli (Reprise)
Yes, the rumors are true, if you've heard them. Maybe they haven't come to you in the form of words my fellow New Yorkers. Maybe they've come in the form of slight atmospheric disturbances given off by my mustache. But I'm living in Ditmas Park, Brooklyn and I intend to make the most of it. I'm looking to hang out with you all, get involved in the local lit scene, and find gainful employment. Anybody want my resume? It's hot and ready to go out. Let's make this my perestroika summer friends.

Buy My Book (Part Deux)
Go to issuu, go to calameo, go to Lulu, and what will you find? Copies of my brand new poetry chapbook, Defense Mechanisms and Other People's Poems. Thanks to my editor Walter Ruhlmann of mgv2>publishing.
This collection of poem features original work by me loosely organized around a search for personal truth and satisfaction against a world of changing fortunes. You know, heady stuff (not to be confused though with Heidi Stüff). It also includes work by other poets in addition to mine:
Jeff Grunthaner
Shenan Prestwich
Michael Damilola Aderibigbe
Joanna C. Valente

Thousand Shades of Gray
New poems are ready for reading and a short story as well. First, there is a poem of mine up at Thousand Shades of Gray. It is based on a picture I once saw on Unhappy Hipsters. I write a lot of poems based on what I see there.
A not so big poem up at Big River Poetry Review.
Another poem of mine is in this anthology here.
Now for all of you who like your lines long and your words to build a narrative dome for you to sleep under, here's a treat for you, a piece of flash fiction courtesy of Danse Macabre.

Roaming Into Romania
May has been kind of slow for me, but here are some new publications for you all to look at and nod approvingly while scratching your full or nascent bears.
EgoPHobia, a Romanian website, has put up five of my poems. You can read all of them here.
I have 5 poems in Hotmetalpress: http://hotmetalpress.net/ben_nardolilli
There is a poem here as well: http://www.cactusheartpress.com/
Any day now my short fiction prince will come and give me links to post. Any day now. Until then, you can read a short story from friend of the blog Fred Bubbers: http://fredbubbers.com/natural-selection/
