In honor of this very momentous occasion, I present my Halloween Costume.  Here's a close-up:

I'm not sure if the 47th one will shock you. This person ranked the theses, you can see if you agree. It seems pretty shocking if you've already bought an indulgence. So far, I haven't had any trouble with this costume, just trying to move, drink, and dance with it on. Luckily I haven't run into anyone dressed as Ignatius J. Reilly.

Here's a poem of mine that was published today at Leaves of Ink. Since it's Martin Luther King Jr. Day, we can all pretend it's about him, somehow. I mean, in the end, isn't there a little bit of MLK in each and every one of us? My poor understanding of quantum physics says...yes.

Boosting My February Stats

In case you missed it, I had poems up in Tinfoildresses. My work starts at page 14 of the issue. Also, there is a poem to read at Bone Orchard Poetry. Now, here are some interesting links that I came across and have nothing to do with me. The first is an interesting piece about John Berryman and the carnival life. The second is a project dedicated to creating police composite sketches of characters drawn from literature using the descriptions given of them in the novels they inhabit.

Apparently I was Wrong

Okay, I was wrong. Notice, I avoided writing the first thing people my age tend to say these days when in error: "I lied." I didn't know I would be proven wrong (in a good way), hence no lying took place. My Millennial Generation, take note. Lying means you have willfully evaded the truth and told people something was the case when you knew otherwise. Then again, can we be blamed for not knowing what lying really is after Nixon, Reagan, Bush, Clinton, and Bush II? Anyway, it turns out I have another poem to share before the ball drops on New Year's. It is up at Dark Chaos.
