First New Post in a While, Oh Wait
The Greek Silk Journal has published a poem of mine in their spring issue. It's a meta-poem I suppose, given its subject. I know here in New York City it may not feel seasonal yet, but maybe where you are primavera has begun to not just blossom, but flourish in the air.

Your Sunday Morning Shuffle (A Day Early)
New poem of mine in Twist and Twain, an outfit based in Assam. That's in Indian, folks. I know the subject describes a possible Sunday morning (for a possible, very hypothetical writer) and today is Saturday. But who really knows what day it is any more? Or month? Or year? Is it 2021 yet?

First is Not the Worst
New poems in the first edition of Flora Fiction. Don't let the name fool you, there's plenty of poems in the journal. The second one is an older piece of work. I wrote it for a creative writing class at NYU. I don't remember what the specifics of the assignment were, but I used them to produced a work about the sights and sounds of Washington Square Park.

Low Risk Fuel
First blog post coming at you all from quarantine. To be honest, it feels like when I lived in New Jersey. Staying indoors and glued to screens. Nevertheless, the poetry has persisted. Here is a poem just published in As It Ought to Be Magazine,

Special Offer on the World's Fare
This poem is more than just a special offer (it's free like all the others I post here), it's the name of the piece itself. Read the poem and then move on to the rest of the venue it's published in, Ephemeral Elegies (the poetry of emotion).

A Found Poem Finds Its Way Into a Literary Journal
A poem of mine has been published in the inaugural issue of Revolute. It is called Circumflex. As you can tell from the title and the image above, the basis of the text is a description about the accent mark.

A Poem As It Ought to Be
A poem of mine is in the literary journal As It Ought To Be Magazine. It comes from my time as a paralegal dealing with clients from upstate New York. The name of the poem is "Large Bull Thistle" which is also what the name of Chenango County translates to.

As Online, so in Real Life (or Not)
Two more poems to share with you. The first is in the Rye Whiskey Review. That place is quickly becoming a satellite of this blog. But I can't complain. Exposure is exposure, unless its northern. In addition to this poem, there's another in As Above, So Below. The theme of the current issue is freedom/imprisonment. My works are called "The Prison State" and "The Price of a Gazebo."

Celebrating the Work of Benjamin Nordolilli
Really enjoying this poem "The Lunar Gemini" in the Poetica Review. It's by an up and coming poet named Ben Nordolilli. I don't know what it is, but there's something about the language I like. It seems...so familiar. Overall, I hope you enjoy his work here and be on the look out for more of it!

Another Minor Festival
A new poem in the Blue Tiger. I believe it's the first time I've been published on a website based in China. I think.
